Wikipedia tells me that "selkokieli on yleiskieltä yksinkertaisempaa kieltä,
jonka sisältöä, rakennetta ja sanastoa on muokattu helpommaksi ymmärtää."
Basically, it is all about easier to read language, where content, structure and
vocabulary are modified to facilitate understanding. Selkokieli has many applications
in real life, including making life of the Finnish language learner simpler, especially for A2-B1 level Finnish language learners.
